In October 1989, he made his first TV show appearance by playing the role of Bobby Iger in an episode titled Simply Irresistible of the medical drama series, Doogie Howser, M.D., whose lead cast comprised of actors Neil Patrick Harris, Max Casella, Belinda Montgomery, Lawrence Pressman, Mitchell Anderson, Kathryn Layng, Lisa Dean Ryan, Lucy Boryer, Markus Redmond, and James B. Sikking.
From 1990 to 1991, Brady Bluhm co-starred alongside Chris Elliott, Sam Robards, Robin Riker, Elinor Donahue, Bob Elliott, Taylor Fry, and Brian Doyle-Murray in the surreal humor black comedy sitcom, Get a Life.
He made his theatrical film debut as Billy, a blind and young wheelchair-bound boy to whom Lloyd sold some of his and Harry’s belongings including Harry’s decapitated parakeet, in the 1994 screwball comedy film, Dumb and Dumber, which starred Jim Carrey, Jeff Daniels, Lauren Holly, Karen Duffy, and Mike Starr.
